Creative Brick Solutions are the UK representative for Rairies Montrieux, a high quality brick slip and brick manufacturer from the Loire Valley in France. Our shared passion for quality materials with a focus on specification brings many exciting brick slip finishes to the UK market.
Renowned for different products and an expertise in glazed finishes, Rairies Montrieux has been recognised for seven generations and prized by architects, craftsmen and builders. Locally mined clay is used to produce the famous brick slips and bricks which are popular all around the world.
NATURAL TERRACOTTA
Our terracotta brick slips are produced by baking clay to form a type of ceramic. After firing, due to its built-in properties, a dense product is created that will last decades.
FLAMED TERRACOTTA
These brick slips are unique due to their position in the wood-fired kiln. The slip pigment takes on a completely original look due to its relation to the flame.
ENGOBED
These brick slips are created by applying a coloured clay coating to natural terracotta. This brick allows for design flexibility, as all terracotta can be coated in the colours we provide.
ORIGINELLE
Originelle brick slips are positioned in the oven to create a unique tone, closely replicating colours of the earth, sand and clay. This creates a natural colouring that adds authenticity to any design.
Glazed Brick Slips
COLOURED GLAZED
Finely crushed coloured glass is applied to the terracotta brick slips during a second firing to achieve a bright and bold look that can be matched to any RAL code.
CRYSTAL CLEAR
This modern design gives any building’s façade a natural look within the urban environment. These bricks will bring an optical sensation to your project’s exterior.
METALLIC
Metallic glazed brick slips will reflect the light and shimmer in the sun for an eye catching look. A unique façade can be created by combining metallic slips with other types of brick slips.
TRANSPARENT
These glazed brick slips will give your build a transparent effect. Using these to combine various brick styles, such as coloured terracotta, can enhance the iridescent effect of this product.
SINGLE FIRED
Created by simultaneously firing the raw terracotta and finely crushed coloured glass in the same firing process, single-fired brick slips can create a more natural façade.
