These brick slips are twice-fired for durability. They are returned to the kiln for a second high-temperature firing of the clay. This second firing fuses the finely crushed glass to the brick slip making it become extremely hard and resistant. This enables the clay to vitrify and the glazing to fix to the brick.
The method for glazing the terracotta is the result of meticulous craft and ancient techniques. Finely crushed coloured glass is applied to the terracotta to achieve this look. From shiny to matte, and metal finishes, this blend of glazing and firing gives it an unequalled appearance.
Patterns can be created by combining shapes or angles of brick slips that, once assembled, create a variety of finishes depending on the chosen style.
Brick slips give real character to the façade.
Naturally fire resistant due to the materials and coating used.
Bricks slips are a lightweight solution with increase speed of construction.
