The Clearing
The Clearing is an exclusive residential development in Sheffield from Dorsia Homes, combining Mystique facing brick with buff pitch-faced natural stone to give the three homes a strong and carefully considered material character.
The contrast between the lighter brickwork and richly textured stone adds character and a refined finish across the elevations. Creative Brick Solutions also supplied the stone chimney caps, helping the key external details feel consistent with the wider architectural project and the development’s natural surroundings.
Designed by Peak Architects for Dorsia Homes, the scheme brings together contemporary forms, pitched roofs and large areas of glazing. The selected brick and stone products help the homes feel established within their secluded setting while supporting the refined finish expected of a high-quality luxury residential development.
The choice of brick and stone plays an important role in balancing the scheme’s contemporary forms with a more grounded, natural character. The variation in tone and texture helps to define this development.
Together, these materials support a cohesive finish across the scheme, giving The Clearing a sense of permanence and quality while allowing the individual homes to sit comfortably within this secluded setting in Sheffield.
